Boulanges and Les
Cercles des Chefs hosted “Stephane GLACIER”- Formateur en
Patisserie- at the Century Park Hotel, Kaslik, on Thursday 14th of October 2004
at 4:00 pm .
Stephane GLACIER, won the title of “Meilleur Ouvrier de
France Pâtissier” Septembre 2000. Chef GLACIER is a demonstrator
for the companies DEMARLE and Les Vergers BOIRON. The aim of this event is to
present DEMARLE’s new line of products as well as the new recipes
realized by BOIRON frozen fruits.
More than 100 Chefs of the leading hotels and restaurants in
Lebanon attended the event and they amazingly watched Chef GLACIER prepare
three different kinds of desserts and cakes: “Ultime Bourbon”,
“Tarte Banane Noisette” and “Tendresse”.
Handouts were given to all the attendants including the 3
recipes with the ingredients, preparation and cooking instruction.
While preparing the pastry items, Chef GLACIER gave a detailed
demonstration on how to use the new product from DEMARLE
“Flexipat®” and “Flexipan®”.
The 2 hour demonstration was followed by a buffet of a new
sweets prepared by the Chef Stéphane GLACIER.
Promotional bags including catalogue of Demarle’s
products and moulds for cakes were given to everyone present at the event.
